===== Probe Activation =====

When powered on for the first time, your **probe** automatically contacts the **Zebrix Control** backend to register.

For **security and confidentiality** reasons, manual validation by our team is required before the probe becomes fully operational.


==== 📧 Activation Request ====

To complete the activation process, please send an email to : **[[mailto://activation@zebrix.net|activation@zebrix.net]]**

Your request must include the following information:

  * **Your account name**
  * **Probe ID** (see below)
  * **MAC address**
  * **Desired name for the probe**

Once validated by our team, the probe will be activated and automatically linked to your account.


==== 🔎 Finding the Probe ID ====

The **Probe ID** can be found:

  * On the **device label** (for physical Zebrix probes).
  * Directly from the **local probe interface** (displayed in the command-line screen at startup).
