===== Overview =====

This driver allows you to control LG professional displays (Digital Signage) from Zebrix Control.

In most cases, no specific configuration is required on the display side.

===== Network Requirements =====

For the driver to work, the Zebrix probe must be able to communicate with the LG displays.

  * Displays must be reachable over IP
  * Port **9761/TCP** must be open

===== Compatible Devices =====

The driver is compatible with LG devices supporting **External Control (RS232C)**

⚠️ Special case:
  * LG set-top boxes (e.g., STB-6500) are partially compatible
  * Power ON may not work remotely

===== Display Configuration =====

In most cases, no action is required.

If needed, check:

  * The display is connected to the network
  * An IP address is configured
  * The Set ID is defined (default: 01)

The driver allows you to:

  * Power the display ON / OFF
  * Control volume and mute
  * Change input source (HDMI, DisplayPort…)
  * Retrieve display status

  * Power ON may not work on some devices

  * Use a static IP for displays
  * Ensure port 9761 is reachable
