- Generate an API key in Neat Pulse
- Declare a Neat Pulse type external service in Zebrix Control.
- Create and configure your devices.
Generate an API key in Neat Pulse
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- You must have a Neat Pulse account with a Plus or Pro subscription plan.
- You must have Owner or Admin permissions in your Neat Pulse account.
Steps to generate the API key
Follow these steps to create your API key:
- Log in to your Neat Pulse portal.
- Navigate to the Settings section.
- Click on the API keys tab.
- Click the Add API key button.
- Name your API key for easy identification (e.g., “[Application Name] Integration”).
- Choose the scopes you want to grant to this key. Scopes define the actions the API will be authorized to perform (e.g., read device information, manage rooms, etc.).
- Click Add.
- Immediately copy your API Access Token. For security reasons, the key will only be displayed once. Keep it in a safe place.
Retrieving the Organization ID
Configuring the device in Zebrix Control
Let's configure the driver in the Zebrix Control administration interface:
- Organization ID: Use the Organization ID retrieved earlier.
- Access Token API: Use the API Access Token retrieved earlier.
Your videoconferencing device is now added as a device in Zebrix Control.
Port Opening
