To use the YMCS APIs to monitor your Yealink devices, you need to:

Enable the APIs in YMCS? ?

Go to the YMCS login interface and log in

Then choose “Device Management”

Then go to System > Integration > API

You will be able to store the AccessKey ID (Client ID) and AccessKey Secret (Client Secret) to configure the driver in Zebrix Control.

How to retrieve the device ID?

Go to YMCS device list Room Device > Device List

When you click on a device, the equipment ID appears in the URL (below XXXXXXXXX), for example: https://eu.ymcs.yealink.com/manager/mvc-product/device/mvcDetail?type=0&id=XXXXXXXXX&mac=YYYYYYYYY

With this method, you can easily retrieve the ID of your Yealink YMCS equipment to integrate it into your monitoring.

Let's configure the external service within the Zebrix Control administration interface:

  • Driver : Yealink YMCS
  • Client ID : Use the AccessKey ID (Client ID) previously obtained.
  • Client Secret: Use the AccessKey Secret (Client Secret) previously obtained.
  • API Region: Based on the region where your YMCS tenant is hosted (e.g., eu-api, au-api, or us-api).

Driver Configuration in Zebrix Control

Your videoconferencing equipment has now been added as equipment within Zebrix Control.
