Your First Probe
You should have received your first probe in the form of a device to connect to your network. If not, you can install one yourself using this guide Probe install
To set up the probe:
- Connect it to your network.
- Plug in the power supply.
- Turn it on.
If the probe has been preconfigured by our team, its status should appear in the interface. Let’s verify this.
Probe's Status
Go to Status > Equipment in the interface. The probe should be listed:
Once the probe is online, click on it in the interface to view its details:
Get probe's logs
Access your probe's logs by clicking on “Show logs” button 
Logs are sorted by level, and it is possible to configure the probe to display only one or several log types.
Select the desired log level from the drop-down list in the bottom left-hand corner of the window.
Log levels are nested as follows: ALL < TRACE < DEBUG < INFO < WARN < ERROR.
Example: by selecting INFO, the probe will retrieve ERROR, WARN, and INFO.
Your probe is now operational. Let’s move on to adding your first piece of equipment!
